I hear lotion does the trick. Just dont get it in your eye...it might burn. What is a good home remedy for removing make-up?
Baby Wipes do the trick, marvelously.
take your empty bottle and put water and a lil bit of olive oil in it and shake it up and there u go!! it works.
I don't know if you would consider it a home remedy, but I use baby oil. Most of the time it works better than any other make up remover that I've tried and it's a hell of a lot cheaper.
I know this sounds so simple...but just lotion (any kind) on a tissue. It'll get it right off..even waterproof.
Baby oil, Vaseline, baby wipes, I wouldn't use lotion, especially if it has any fragrance, it could burn your eyes. But any of the other three do the trick.
Here is a traditional make-up remover used in my country:

Heat up 1 l of water until it starts to boil, then close the stove fire. Drop 50 marigold flowers (calendula officinalis) into the water and let them infuse for 15 minutes, and you have your own natural make-up remover! Marigold flowers are pretty easy to run into, but if you can't find them, you can buy marigold tea from a local green pharmacy and use that. the best remedy for that is water + cetaphil! it really works! try it..^_~
the best face wash...(i know you asked for a home remedy), but it's clean and clear deep action cream cleanser. it's like 3 bucks and it even removes water proof mascara. it's my personal favorite. and believe me, i've tried everything.
Olive oil, Vaseline something that doesn't have a lot of fragrance in it - may make them sensitive .
any lotion on a kleenex
Vaseline and a cotton ball!
well i use good ol' vaseline right before i wash my face it is very soft on the eyes and i know from exp. i luv mascara
baby oil...I don't think anything else works better.....u can use hair conditioner to remove waterproof makeup liek mascara
If you have a bottle of baby oil that should take your eyeliner right off. Use a cotton ball, soak it, %26amp; then wipe. Just remember, baby oil is very oily. After you remove your makeup be sure to wash the area again with regular soap to remove the residue. Try to avoid touching the oil to your T-zone which is naturally oily. Too much oil will cause batercia build up which leads to break outs!

If you're scared of using the baby oil, I recommend using lotion. Try to stay away from lotions that are extra creamy. Jergens Orginial Scent lotion works wonders. Just do the same as the baby oil. Take a cotton ball or tissue, add lotion, and wipe. This time you don't have to wash the area again unless you want.

Hope this helps.
You can use baby oil (or mineral oil) or vaselline to take off mascara and eyeliner.
