Well, I started to wear makeup in sixth grade. If you do start then, just put on some eye shadow, lip gloss and go! After that, you can decide what is good for you. Don't spend more than 5 minutes on your makeup. Over five minutes and you probably put to much on for your age. That is what I said. There are some girls that just put on way to much for their gradee level. Remember that you do have the rest of your life to put on makeup! What grade should a girl start to wear make-up to school?
I would think that it should depend on the girl. If she FEELS the need to wear make up, then there's a self-esteem issue brewing.
To properly wear make up, it should be hard to see if it's applied.
So, if a little cover up and lip gloss is applied and you can't really tell. Then, I don't think it should be much of an issue.
Too many people think that a young girl with make up is ONLY to bait the boys. Well...sometimes it's just to feel better about one's self and/or curiosity about what the big deal is with wearing makeup. What grade should a girl start to wear make-up to school?
When the girl is ready and responsible and understands makeup is made to highlight your beauty and not to make beauty then she can. I am 13 and I don't wear make up and I still look fine. Once she starts getting pimples then it might be time. I would wait until at least High School. In this way, guys aren't all over her and she can feel comfortable. Once you get into high school more priviledges should be allowed.
..high school - makeup makes ur face dry and stuff - use vasiline or something, try o only do it on special occasons
Any grade that you think it should be allowed. if you are asking this as a parent, when and how much is the answer. Girls nowadays go around looking like hoes, so limit it to eyeshadow or mascara. if you are the kid trying to tell the parents you DESERVE to wear make-up, because everyone is, try asking for just eyeshadow. You can be way creative with multiple colors, and most of the time you can use black eyeshadow as an eyeliner also.
12 grade
seriously, us teens don't NEED make-up, my parents let me wear make-up but i can see that truly i don't need, i know I'm not beautiful or gorgeous i just don't see the point in make-up!!!
I think 7th or 8th is good.
Well....Im in 6th grade and i wear make-up.....so i think 6th grae is fine, just not the cruddy tons of make-up look. No one likes that in a 6th grader, use neutrel colors so u look pretty, but not fake.
9th grade
I started in 8th grade.
when the schools allow it, otherwise i think it should be eighth or ninth grade.
7th-8th .
9th grade, any younger is just sad. kids don't need to be worrying about stuff like that. high school is ok to wear makeup but in moderation, not like a street walker..... i think that it is ok for young girls to wear colored chapstick, which leaves a small tent of color but not as much as lipstick would.
9th.. maybe. not sure not there yet.
OMG I love makeup, In the 8th grade i started applying lipgloss and eye liner, and by the 9th grade i was hooked. I think it's okay for high school aged girls to wear makeup
7th to 8th, but it should be gradual. First mascara, then eventually eyeshadow, and then eyeliner or something.
i started wearing makeup in 7th grade...but that was only a tiny bit of eyeliner and lipgloss. besides that, no. I dont really see any other makeup that is necessary....but let me warn you...once you start wearing eyeliner ull never stop
I think that when they start matureing and are not comfort with themselves they should be able to wear makeup, (dont over do it!) But wear some....when they get older and realize how to put it on correctly they can wear as much as they want to as long as they feel comfortable....
Whatever year they go from elementary to middle or high school. This seems to be a natural part of the transition.
Remember, this really is something where less is more.
Well, in my opinion, it depends on the make up. Foundation, concealer, blush and lipstick aren't needed everyday and can be bad for your skin (or reputation if it looks really bad/overdone)
But mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss are simple little things that can brighten your face without aggravating your skin. So I'd say for these things, 9th grade or later, if they want. It isn't really a 'should' thing.
7th or 8th
i start to wear in my 9th grade.
It really depends. If you feel like you're ready to start wearing make-up and you're parents say that it's ok, then it's probably fine. When you first start wearing make-up you might want to start with just a little and see where it goes from there. If you like it, continue. If you don't, then stop. But keep in mind that make-up is bad for you skin, and if you do want to start wearing make-up you need to take good care of your skin every night. So I'd probably say that around the time when you're in middle school is a good time to start, if you want to start wearing make-up. Hopefully my suggestions will be useful.
My mom has always said when you feel like wearing makeup go with it but the rules are that if you were more then eyeshadow your in trouble. thats at like 5 th or 6th . In my opinion I think 7th or 8th would be a good age . But always remember no makeup that covers the inner beauty! meaning light makeup is best dark is too goth so depending on hair and eyes light can brighten your eyes.
it depends on how much the person plans on wearing. im in 7th grade and i wear make-up, but only a tiny bit of black eyeliner. sometimes brown looks super cute too. and if you can pull off a lot of make-up, go for it as long as it still looks classy! i started this year (7th as i said) and not everyone wears makeup but im not the only one too.
