What type of make up suits people with brown skin?

What colour eye shadow, blusher, lip gloss etc. suits brown (slightly patchy) skin? Whenever i try any on, it usually just looks wrong and my skin being patchy doesn't help.What type of make up suits people with brown skin?

some ethnic skin has undertones that drugstore and even some high lines of make up cannot match- if you don't get a perfect color match it's going to end up looking horrible!





once u are able to discover what the undertones in ur skin are you can pick what foundation, blusher and lip color for you. i can't give you a color suggestion without knowing your ethnicity

Well for starters, you should apply a foundation to even out your skin surface and color of your face.


A nice deep bronzer can really accentuate your cheekbones and your forehead. Try a brand from NARS. You can find it at Sephora.


A purple or dark pink lip gloss with a bit of pearl can look nice on dark skin. Light or sheer lipgloss can be okay, but it looks cheap and not as classy. If you want to apply blush always use a NARS product, it is pigmented and will show up easily aginst dark skin, just don't use a lot at once to make you look like a plastic doll.





EYESHADOW! You want to use a MAC product because dark skin requires lots of pigment. A goldish color is nice to really accentuate your dark eyes and face. MAC products are about $15 and... you can get a variety of colors.
