What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?

Do lots of juniors play? I go to a school with 1800 kids.What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?
9,10,11...





12th graders play automatic Varsity. At least in Texas.What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?
When I was in hs, it was mainly freshman and sophomores. Generally the JV team was thought of like minor league baseball in a way, players who maybe aren't good enough to play varsity, but with some coaching and practice they might make it. They mainly chose fresh and sophs because at least they still had a few years left if they became good enough for varsity.
with all those kids you probly have a freshman team. If you have a good varsity team then probly all juniors and a little bit of sophmores. no seniors are allowed to play jv
Freshmen, Sophomore, Juniors, %26amp; Seniors.
mainly its 9th and 10th graders. juniors dont often play on jv at that big of a school. I would say mostly all juniors either dont make the team or on varsity.
