Is there still a prejudice among law enforcement against blacks, or is it some other reason? Please state your reason.Statistics show that blacks in jail make up a higher percentage than the outside world. Why is this?
Yes, the law enforcement often discriminate unfairly against Blacks.
BUT, Blacks create more crimes than any other races in the United States.Statistics show that blacks in jail make up a higher percentage than the outside world. Why is this?
my opinion is a mixed one. Some areas, they will convict a black person before they will convict a white, so yeah, racism still runs hard. Think about the sayings ';driving while black'; or in some juvenile cases ';walking after dark while black.'; People have many stereotypes, if they have their hair braided or wear their pants low, they got to be thugs. Another reason is many that are convicted are convicted in large cities where poverty runs high. The crimes may be their only means of survival. Think about it, your 16, looking for a job, not getting hired because of your appearance, race whatever. You need money to do what you got to do. The drug dealer down the street can pay you mad cash. What are you going to do? Basically, the poor tend to remain poor, the rich keep getting richer. People do what they know to do to survive. Ask many of them why they do it, they will tell you they had to feed/clothe/shelter their family.
In large cities Blacks commit over 80% of the crime. Why wouldn't more be in jail? You feel safer if your White in a White area of town or a Black Area in town??
All it really tells you is that blacks are convicted more often.
Maybe they commit more crimes?
