Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?

My friend is a vegitarian, but absolutely loves MAC make up. I heard MAC makes some of their brushes from squirrel and possibly other small animals.Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?
Yes, they make several using natural fibers/ But, it is typically labeled and should be stated on the casing. Besides, natural bristles absorb too much makeup and make applicaiton a little sloppy sometimes.Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?

Some of MAC's brushes are made with natural fibers, meaning that yes, some are (treated) animal hairs, etc. If she is worried about it, she should make sure the brushes she buys or uses are made of synthetic fibers. Some of MAC's are synthetic as well. She should just check out the website (http://www.maccosmetics.com) to distinguish what brushes are natural fibers and what are synthetic.





Synthetic brushes do a really good job of applying makeup too, because the product does not absorb into the brush at all.

get your brushes from the body shop they are actually gorgeous ive had mine for like 2 years now and theyre still like new! theyre obviously animal frindly because its the body shp! they cost like 拢8-15 depending which kind you want but theyre worth it! x
