HAIR
Bestest if you have dark hair, but if not, just get a black or dark brown or a bright bright blond wash in wash out dye, give yourself a massive side fring and back combe it like mad (get about an inch width of hair and brush it the opposite way to usual) then hold it with extra hold hairspray, then add a massive black bow :)
BOTTOM HALF
Either black skinnies (really really tight), or if you want to be a bit different then go for bright red or neon pink :) , because then you can look cuteeee aswell. Then on your feet, either wear Converse, Vans or just plain old slip ons :) Finally, wear a white and metal studded belt to the side to top the bottom half off :)
TOP HALF
Then, wear a black band tee or a black hoodie which is quite look but looks cute. And if your not wearing a hoodie then you could wear a massive emo scarve, possibly in black and white.
MAKEUP
Go for really thick and plastic-looking foundation so you cant see any spots or anythingg :) , then coat your lips on concealer, then put on about 5 coats of black volumising mascarra all over your lashes. Then wear neon pink eyeshadow and line your eyes with a reallllly thick coating of black eyeliner. The, get a birhgtish shade of pink blusher and highlight your cheeckbones, very obviously.

okay first of all you don't have too do black
you can do BRIGHT neon colors with cute clips and hair extensions. you can get them at hottopic for like 8 bucks they come in packs of two they have MANY different colors %26lt;3

and do Bright bold flats or converse

get a coal black eye pencil and pressing hard outline your eyes with it
smudge it using your finger for a smokey kind of effect
wear a little mascara
use a foundation which is quite pale to make your eyes stand out
if you dont wan to dye your hair black (i understand!) just straighten it dead straight and try and create a side fringe
have fun!

BACKCOMB big time. use lots of hairspray and put cute funky clips or bows in your bangs like this.

And wear super skinnies, with chucks or vans and a cute band tee or graphic.
I would say a semi perminent black dye is a must have for emo's, and heavy black eye-liner around your eyes would be perfect. Also if you have short hair it might be good to gel it into spikes, but to leave a bit of hair (or your fringe) to cover one eye.
Tease your hair to make it look big (backcomb it)
and wear tight clothes with alot of accessories like necklaces
use a lot of blach eyeliner and black eyeshadow
