I am 13 years old and my mom is going to start letting me wear make up but she wont let me wear eyeliner why?

I just want to wear a little bit on the bottom of my eye.I am 13 years old and my mom is going to start letting me wear make up but she wont let me wear eyeliner why?
cause eyeliner makes you look WAY older than you already are. shes probably just realizing that her little girl ain't little no more and don't want you looking or acting grown up than you already are. wear the basic now like lip gloss ( you can never have too much lip glosses ) and maybe some powder for shine on your for head and only for church or parties you can get some eyeshadowI am 13 years old and my mom is going to start letting me wear make up but she wont let me wear eyeliner why?
she's scared that the eyeliner will be too much for you. you probably have those eyes that don't need it. do you have almond/cat shaped eyes? cause they don't need eyeliner
yea im 13 to and juast startd wearing a little bit of makeup at first my mom didnt let me wear eyeliner to just mascara and cover up if i really needd it





but she didnt let me wear eyeliner cuz she doesnt wantme to get addicted to it and strt putting on tons of it around my eyes





so now she just lets my wear eyeliner on the top





makeup tips:


-only curl ur top eyelashes


-thiner lines of eyeliner make ur eyes look smaller


-blue eyeliner looks just like black eyeliner on some people


-wash ur makeup before u take a shower and before u go to bed or u will have black eyes



because it looks awful on young girls. lol, im 14 and i dnt wear it! it smudges though.

you really don't need to. sometimes people look worse with make up.. its just too much. and if you don't have make up remover, it'll be really hard to wash off.
Eyeliner can make your eyelashes fall off. But since your 13, i don't suggest wearing so much makeup, cause as you get older, you might gert wrinkles! To be honest, guys like girls who don't wear too much makeup, natural beauty =] haha anyway i suggest tat you just wear eyeshadow OR mascara x]



A lot of times, when girls start wearing makeup, they can put too much eyeliner on, and to be quite blunt, it looks pretty slutty. Your mom probably just wants you to wear natural-looking makeup, and not go overboard with it. If you really want to wear some, show her exactly how much you want to wear (just line one eye or something, so she can see the difference) and she might reconsider, but I personally say just go without it, 'cause it's kind of a burden, and it's usually not worth all of the work. You can also use eyeshadow to get a similar effect though, if you just use a skinny brush and put shadow close to the edge of your eye.





oh, and a tip- if you DO end up using eyeliner, never put it on the inside rim of your eye (on the bottom)-it looks better, but it's really unsafe. Not only are you more at risk for poking your eye with the pencil, it also basically wears off into your eye. Since it's a lot closer to your eye, it is more susceptible to tears, so even if your eyes water a bit- from something as small as yawning- it can rub off and get stuck in your eye.
Probably because eyeliner will make you look too old and hard. It looks like a costume if a girl is too young. But if your lashes are really pale, talk to her and say you just want to fill them in. Show her with a brown pencil how you can just dot in between the lashes, then smudge, so it looks like lashes and not a hard line. Or ask her if she would show you how she would do it. She may come around if you ask her for her input more.
eyeliner can be hard to apply and takes practise..


and sometimes it can look a little dark and like youve got too much on your face


or your mum might just disapprove of the whole eyeliner idea...


if you get brown eyeliner its not as dark, maybe your mum might not even tell you have it on!

Maybe because, she is worried that you might poke ur eye,but if you really want tell her that you're capable of doing it...(if you are.)
eyeliner sometimes can be extreme %26amp; she doesnt want it to look like your wearing loads of makeup


tbh im sure you dont need makeup, i regret wearing makeup from quite a young age
probably because some girls tend to use to much eyeliner and look like something off the streets.

im 14 and i wear eyeliner you jsut have to make sure you use one that dosnt go to the bottom of your eye.
Because it looks too cool! Parents don't want you to look awesome! Just kidding.. but seriously, it's probably because eyeliner makes more of a statement than just eyeshadow, blush or cover-up. Eyeliner looks very unnatural. Perhaps she thinks you're going to go crazy with it like all those scenesters out there. If you're only 13, don't worry about it, you probably look beautiful the way you are. In time, your mom will probably fret less about it. If you're just starting out with makeup you don't want to go out and make a BAM statement like that. So just hang in there, eyeliner will come someday. :)

i used to always wear eyeliner, but without it , your face looks so much fresher. youll be so happy you didnt wear it when you look back at pictures
Eyeliner can make you look very grown up and your mom probably doesn't want you looking more grown up than you already do. Also, eyeliner can be tricky and if you aren't careful it can make you look trashy. Wait a year or two and wear the basics now, you are only 13.
I think she doesn't want you to look to bold in it its really easy to look like a raccoon trust me tell her only liquid liner because you apply the liquid eyeliner in dots so you won't have to use a whole bunch of eyeliner also use some clear mascara and lip gloss thats all you need for that age unless you have acne if you do use concealer and the Clean %26amp; Clear acne kit.








P.S. - Take your make up off everyday!!! Never sleep in it always take it off before bed or it's going to get messy and your going to have dry skin.


Always have make -up remover at home or with you trust me you'll need it.

I would wear eyeliner when im about 18 and your only 13 pet so leave it for a few years because its very messy to put on and you would get stressed out so think about it when your 18 hun ok.
