i kinda have small eyes and i want to use eye make up to make them look bigger and better. what colour eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner should i use, or what brand how should i apply it? thanks :) best answer gets 10 pts :)What colour eye make up will suit small eyes?
The key to making eyes bigger is to focus on light shades. Dark ones will make eyes appear even smaller. Sweep a light shade over lid, then shade the outer corner of the lid and the crease with a darker shade. Line the outer upper and lower lids with eyeliner making sure to taper a bit outside the eye (elongating it). Lastly, a dab of white or cream shadow in the middle of the browbone will make eyes pop. (A word of warning: make sure brows are perfectly plucked, otherwise stray hairs will stand out as if lit by klieg lights). What colour eye make up will suit small eyes?
use white eyeliner!
and avoid using black eyeliner because it outlines your eyes and shows them really how small they are.
just use maskara instead
Virtual Makeover. It's free, super easy and fun. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click http://marykay.com/mgunther2
You could use some light-colored eyeshadow, and maybe try Lash Maxxx by Rimmel for mascara. It works REALLY well, and will definitely open your eyes up.
Don't close your eyeliner in around your eyes. Only draw the line to the middle of your eye on the bottom lid. Maybe, on the top, you could do a little wing. :]
i say black eyeliner and mascara and then a darker color eyeshadow! if the eyeliner is applied a little thicker but not to much down your eye, it will look awsome.
if you tried to use a colored eyeliner like blue, teal, or purple that would help.... also i'm not sure if you're comfortable with this but if you used fake eyelashes that aren't totally like POW big but just like natural long length and then took mascara and put it on ur eyelashes and ur fake ones it will blend in and look pretty natural.. if you dont like fake eyelashes try this tip for applying mascara....put the brush at the root of the eyelashes and wiggle moving up slightly then pull it through the rest of the way... and then for color wise for eyeshadow that doesnt really matter but if you took some glittery eyeshadow and put it under the ends of your eyebrows on your eyelid it makes ur eyeslook bigger...
oh ya and if you use glitter mascara which you can get at target it adds the extra glam. it may not seem like its on there but i wore it the first day and 5 people complimented me on it.
hope that helps
peace out! bi
you should use a nice warm color eyeshadow and black eyeliner , remember the trick with make up is that people should not no that you have it on.

Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?
My friend is a vegitarian, but absolutely loves MAC make up. I heard MAC makes some of their brushes from squirrel and possibly other small animals. Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?
Yes, they make several using natural fibers/ But, it is typically labeled and should be stated on the casing. Besides, natural bristles absorb too much makeup and make applicaiton a little sloppy sometimes. Are any make-up or make-up brushes and such made up of animals or animal products/parts?
Elegant faces launch their synthetic brush line www.elegantfaces.com Sooooo soft! Report Abuse
By the way, the animals are shaved to do brushes just like sheep are shaved to make wool. Report Abuse
Some of MAC's brushes are made with natural fibers, meaning that yes, some are (treated) animal hairs, etc. If she is worried about it, she should make sure the brushes she buys or uses are made of synthetic fibers. Some of MAC's are synthetic as well. She should just check out the website (http://www.maccosmetics.com) to distinguish what brushes are natural fibers and what are synthetic.
Synthetic brushes do a really good job of applying makeup too, because the product does not absorb into the brush at all.
Good luck, and hope that helps!
get your brushes from the body shop they are actually gorgeous ive had mine for like 2 years now and theyre still like new! theyre obviously animal frindly because its the body shp! they cost like 拢8-15 depending which kind you want but theyre worth it! x

What can I use to keep my make up stay fresh looking all day?
I use Loreal finishing powder and occasionally Model in A Bottle Spray, but I still feel like my make up looks horrible after only a few hours. I want it to stay on after a whole day of being outside or even inside and still look fresh and not want to wash my face and do it all over again so often!! I use mineral powder cover up.What can I use to keep my make up stay fresh looking all day?
The BEST thing I have discovered to keep my makeup color strong, long-lasting and fresh all day is to use a good under make-up primer.
I use Laura Geller's ';Spackle';. It's amazing! Your make-up goes on smooth as silk, the colors don't fade (blush!), and it improves the over-all texture of your skin. I'm asked all the time what kind of foundation I use and believe me, it's nothing special! My secret is the PRIMER!
You can buy the Laura Geller Spackle at QVC.com. They usually have it in stock. But even if you don't go with Laura Geller's, there are lot's of good under make-up primers out there!
Good Luck! What can I use to keep my make up stay fresh looking all day?
Before putting it on wash your face with a really hot rag..it might feel stcky at first but it works =]
when I went to school for that we use to use concealer under the eyeshadow to make it last longer. it really does work I do that for my own makeup. You should also oil removal clothes never reapply your make up on top of old make up.
better makeup.
i have oily skin, so i use those oil blotting sheets from mary kay! they are awesome,,, by the way marykay has the best makeup, its not cheap but ts worth it!:)emo hair

How do you cover up freckles with make-up?
I have alot of freckles and I hate them soooo much. Sometimes people tease me about it. Is there anyway to cover them up? Or maybe prevent them easily? I'm not an expert with make-up and I basically only know how to apply lip gloss :S:SHow do you cover up freckles with make-up?
Liquid makeup or concealer. How do you cover up freckles with make-up?
you can use a red shadow on it ,then cover them with a powder cream.this is the way that used in cinema for actresses.but if you want to remove them go to a doctor for your skin,he could remove them with medicine,my mother remove hers by going to a doctor.
I know this doesn't answer your question, but I can't understand why you would want to cover them up. Women are so beautiful with freckles, why would you do that?
God gives you something that makes you unique and is beautiful to many people, and you just want to cover it up. Many guys love the natural look and don't like make-up covering up what women perceive to be their flaws.
Why not just enjoy what you have, ignore those who are stupid and must tease, and you'll find people who like you for who you are, and men who will love those freckles and do anything for you because of them and your other good traits.
Try a good concealer and then use foundation.
Also use blush or bronser to help even out your skin tone.
You dont have to be a make up expert to apply these, you'll get better the more you wear them. If you're a teen and prone to breakouts look for skin-clearing make up or oil free make up.
apply the consealer first over the spots
then the foundation (the cream compacts are good, but what youprefer to use is up to you. Some women prefer that to use liquid foundation followed by powder) choose one that matches your skin tone and blend well. Avoid getting a make up line around the frame of your face.
Just a little bit of blush, enough for a natural glow.
I dont know why you'd want to cover them - freckles can be so cute! Embrace your freckliness!
you could blend them in slightly with a good powder bronzer.
they will blend in a bit more with your skin tone without making you look like you're caked in makeup.
dont cover them up - they're part of you..
aw, i bet your freckles are gorgeous! whoever teases you about them is just jealous. freckles are cool. however to prevent getting more you'd pretty much have to stay indoors and not be in the sun lol. and it might look obvious if you try to cover them up. can you learn to embrace your freckles?
I am about to try advanced solutions by Neutrogena. There is another brand called youthful essence but I want to try the Neutrogena 1st from Walmart. I think that helps out with the freckles and it will smooth out your skin. :) Hopefully you don't have to put too much make up on so you can look natural with a little makeup.
concealer liquid make up and loose powder. go to marshall fields and ask for this special make up they sell for covering up freckles or skin discolorations i'm sorry i forgot the name but, they will know what your talking about right away. it costs a few extra bucks but it is worth it cuz it really works and matches your own skin type perfectly
make sure ur skin is always hydrated and protected against the sun because sunlight accentuates freckles. if you want to cover them use foundation.good luck:)
concealer
Why would you want to cover up your freckles? Freckles are adorable. Let your true beauty shine.
there is also something at Belk that you may want to try , it is called dermablend...they have concealers and foundations, and a cosmetic person there to help you put it on and show you how. dermablend can cover up tattoos and birthmarks, but it is heavy. MAC cosmetics is also an excellent makeup that you may want to try. stop by a department store and ask for samples of some products that might work for you, then you will be able to make a decision without wasting any money in the mean time. good luck!
dont
just leave ur natural beauty
First off by proud of who you are!!!! I know that sounds corny but very true. First I use Mary-kay makeup and I love it. If you find someone that sell's this they will help and do a great job. First start with a concelor and apply that where your freckles are the worse, then apply your foundation make sure it is a good match to your skin color and go with a meduim coverage and then your powder. This should do the trick and then apply a light blush. It will take some pratice but have faith.
Why would you want to cover up your freckles anyway? I personally think freckles are the cutest things ever and that they make you special...... But if you really want to..... ok start with foundation, then powder. find one that matches your skintone please!!

How old should i be to wear make-up?
Okay, I'm thirteen turning fourteen this summer, wear makeup, and have never waxed eyebrows or anything. I'm going into highschool next year and was wondering if i should or already should have wear/worn makeup . My parents are SUPER overprotective and my dad won't let me wear shorts, they have to be and inch longer than my arms. I know sheltered child. SO how much makeup should i wear? How old should i be to wear make-up?
I think you only really need it for ur eyes at this point, so go easy with the eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. Try not to get BLACK cuz it looks very harsh on young teens. Maybe blackbrown is good. And make sure to put it on so it'll ENHANCE ur features and people will be like ';whoa look at how pretty she isHow old should i be to wear make-up?
A light light shadow and mascara would look great with some gloss. Any more than that you could look like a young girl playing with mom's makeup. if you know what I mean. As I have gotten older I have found that less is more and natural beauty with great skin is the way to go. It's better for your skin/pores and will help so you don't get black heads and pimples. Be sure to wash your face nightly to get rid of the make up. OH and please do not use foundation that just makes most young gals look silly.
buy make up and hide it. dont wear too much, just the basic concealer for pimples or under eye circles and tinted lipgloss and definitely mascara.
lipgloss-
L'Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss is the best!!!!
concealer-
i dont wear any, but i hear physicians formula is good.
mascara-
clinique lash doubling mascara!!!! i swear by this product its a little pricey(14$) and u can only get it at a department store but i promise its worth it. it looks natural but it makes ur lashes significantly longer.
wash ur face everyday!!! and put on lotion.
u dont really need that much makeup though
lipgloss, eyeshadow %26amp; eyeliner. thtsz all. stick w/ the natural look b/c im 13. im in the same situation as you. my parents dont want me wearing short shorts either. but dont overdue the makeup. besides you're young %26amp; too much makeup wont make yuh look pretty, just cakey.
p.s.
good luck-practice with makeup over the summer.
You should be twelve.
Mascara and a lipgloss are all you need at this point.
eye liner and mascara but dont over do it and its ur body so you should be able to wear shorts
just enough to look natural.
not pasted on like a chav with lines down the sides of your face
maybe a little brown eye liner and some powder foundation if you have acne or your skin is oily
mascara...... kinda sheer lipgloss.....lipliner.....foundation

What is the harm or benefit if we put foundation during make up?
I don't understand cuz some ppl say it's good to put foundation, but some say put face base enough already... i'm really so confused...Should i put face base then foundation then only make up - like blusher, eyeshadow etc OR Should i just put face base then can apply make up already OR Should i just put foundation then apply make up OR just apply make up without foundation %26amp; face base? What is the harm or benefit if we put foundation during make up?
I have no idea what face base is, but if you mean primer, it goes underneath the makeup. Sequence is moisturizer first, then primer, foundation, setting powder. If you use mineral powder makeup, you don't need the setting powder. And by the way, foundation IS makeup. It's the skin-toned stuff you put on. Makeup means everything from eye liner to foundation to lipstick to eye shadow. It's a general term meaning cosmetics for the face.

Any advice for a male possibly selling make up w inbound sales?
Any advice for a male possibly selling make up through an inbound customer service /sales line ?
My call center is switching from a cell phone client to a make up client .Any advice for a male possibly selling make up w inbound sales?
I sold magazines through an outbound sales line, but I figure this can't be much different. If you can find the book Color Me Beautiful by Carole Jackson, that should help you figure out the right makeup for the right customer.Any advice for a male possibly selling make up w inbound sales?
Well that would depend. Does your current job require you to know all about the cell phones that you sell, or do you merely collect the financial information? If you are going to be expected to know all kinds of information about the makeup that your company is selling, I'd suggest brushing up on your makeup knowledge now. If you'll only be collecting financial and credit card info, you should be fine.
Perhaps you could be asked to be transferred to another part of your company, where you wouldn't actually have to take calls? If you swing it right you might could end up being a manager or supervisor...
Other than that, I don't really know. I've never had to deal with a problem even remotely similar to this.
Honey, sales is sales no matter what you're selling! Product knowledge is a must for sure. Keep in mind that women will use phrases like 'peachy color' or 'bisque', lol, so listen closely. They are looking for something to make them feel beautiful. You are the substitute friend at the make-up counter at the mall telling them 'Oh yes, that's a perfect combination for your skin type'. I'm sure your company will offer a training session. Funny, I usually get a guy when I call Victoira's Secret to place an order!

How do these make-up brands rank for sensitive acne prone skin?
Sally's Mineral Make up (i've only heard about, can someone expand?)
Bare Essentials-Bare Minerals
MAC (is there any mineral make-up there??)
anything else you can reccomennd? How do these make-up brands rank for sensitive acne prone skin?
I had the same problem. There is a lot of junk out there - but I found this stuff that got rid of my
acne in 3 days..... Here is the review I found on it..
webreviewpanel.com/index.php?id=75How do these make-up brands rank for sensitive acne prone skin?
I used to use Bare Minerals and i really liked it. Now i use Sally's and i like it better. It works just as good as bare minerals, and it's cheaper too. As with bare minerals i had to use 2 different shades to get the shade that i needed it was costing me 25.00 a piece. But with Sally's i only have to get one shade and it covers better and it's only 12.00. Since i've been using Sally's i havn't had any problems with break-outs at all and i have sensitive acne prone skin as well.
I don't know about Sally's but Bare Minerals is bad for sensitive skin (bismuth oxychloride look it up on Google) and MAC is bad too oily and thick (made for the runway not daily use). Try Bee Luscious. It works great for me.
I dont know much about Sallys mineral makeup ive nvr heard about it. I also havent tried Bare minerals. But mac is AMAZING! Also you could try Nars. Umm let me seeeee sensitive skin..... thats all i can think of. GOOD LUCK! %26lt;3emo hair

GOOD LUCK! %26lt;3
Where does a mineral rock for mineral make-up come from?
I know that mineral make-up comes from a pulverizied mineral rock but was does the mineral rock come from, like where do you find these rocks? Is it the same as going outside and finding rocks then pulverizing them yourself. I would think that these rocks are toxic.Where does a mineral rock for mineral make-up come from?
All rocks are made out of minerals. In fact, you could think of a rock as just a bunch of minerals stuck together. All minerals come from nature. They are mined from the ground by companies and then refined and processed for commercial use. This is where the minerals used in your make up come from. Since processing can often involve extreme heat and dangerous chemicals, it would probably be difficult to replicate what is in your makeup. Just because minerals are found outside does not make them toxic. There *are* toxic minerals out there that contain heavy metals like mercury, but those are most definitely not used in makeup.Where does a mineral rock for mineral make-up come from?
Actually, most rocks are not toxic, and very natural.
Almost all makeup has some form of mineral in it. Micas are used to make shimmer in makeup. Talc and clay minerals are often used as bases in a lot of makeup, but stay away from these as they can clog pores.
Most makeup companies wont display what kind of minerals they are using, but if you have sensitive skin or skin that is prone to breakouts, be sure to get makeup that is Talc free.
The new mineral make-up craze is pretty much just another way for beauty companies to make money which is why these products are generally so expensive, but in most cases they are better for your skin than the oils added to other kinds of makeup
I use Physicians Formula Mineral wear, and absolutely love it. Doesnt smudge, or flake, and I never break out after wearing it.

Do you believe having a license for being a make-up artist makes a difference?
Do you think it really matters if make-up artist have a license or not? If so,why does it make a difference to you?Do you believe having a license for being a make-up artist makes a difference?
NO!!! For One I was Doing Many Photo Shoots And getting plenty of makeup jobs Before I got MY Makeup Diploma!!! The only reason y i went to makeup school was to just maybe learn some things i didnt already know!!!!
When it comes to being a Makeup artist (Which i am) Just keep net working and attending MU shows and eventually once your portfolio is built and the word gets out %26amp; you promote your self (myspace, modelmayhem, model coast etc) People will notice you!!!
I know some MUA that have tons of certificates but there port is horrible and unprofessional, No Designer or model wants to hire someone who cant do a certain look!!! It depends on what you can bring to the table or in this case the set or what you can bring to the shoot!!!
Unless you want to do Makeup in a salon or Like Disney Land Than yes you need a License!!Do you believe having a license for being a make-up artist makes a difference?
Well, it means you are qualified to be doing the job you are doing, and proves that you have been educated in your field of work, so you presumably know what you are doing.
yes i definately do, imagine if anyone could go out and just say they were a makeup artist, makeup artists learn what colours will look good with your skintone hair and eyes!!!
yes so u can work with a better company its better and ppl will trust wt u do more

Can i take make up onboard an airplane?
I want to take my MAC makeup with me in my purse, but i dont want security to take it away. Can i take powder, lipgloss, lipstick, etc?Can i take make up onboard an airplane?
As has already been stated, check your airline's policies on their website and also check at the airports you are traveling to and from. Many have varying rules on what you can take with you.Can i take make up onboard an airplane?
Yea, anything thats liquid has to be 3oz or less though.. check out this page and others like it... their easy to find online.

i would check with the airlines that you want to fly with. i don't think there would be a problem as long as there is no liquid involved

Do leaders inherently make up the minority of the overall population?
If you could see the world black and white or in this case, the ';leader'; versus the ';follower'; respectively, aren't leaders left in the minority?
I guess this depends on your definition of a leader but in this context, I'm talking about leaders of large organizations of people.Do leaders inherently make up the minority of the overall population?
Absolutely. The world needs all kinds of people, and a leader has to have followers, otherwise they're not a leader. You can't have all Chiefs and no Indians. To be a leader is to be truly alone, and most of us just aren't interested in solitude.Do leaders inherently make up the minority of the overall population?
Not necessarily.
Leaders don't often lead in all areas. Often they lead in one and follow in others.
For example, let's say that there are four men in our sample.
One of them is the boss at work. He founded the company they all work for, he knows the industry, and he has grown the company 20% year-over-year for a decade.
The next man serves as a deacon in their church. He organizes many church special events, leads collections drives, and encourages others to give to charity through solicitation campaigns he designs and runs on nights and weekends.
The third man is the team captain of their intramural softball team. He schedules and runs practices, develops team strategies, and encourages all of them to perform on the field.
The last man is the president of the condominium HOA board where they all live (and on which they all serve). He works with vendors to keep prices low for the residents, puts together social gatherings, and plans and prioritizes the spending of HOA funds on repairs and upgrades.
Four men, all leaders of one another, all followers of one another, depending on the specific context in which you view them.
short answer: yes.
long (social psychology) answer:
human behavior can be plotted on a graph which demonstrates that individual behaviors represent a spectrum between any two extremes.
Given the extremes of self-serving, ';r behavior'; (sociopath) and other-serving, ';K behavior'; (altruist) this graph represents a bell curve.
the distribution of the curve is effected by the economic type of the society.
in truly Communist societies (such as the vatican, communes and kibbutzes,) the high point of this curve is equidistant from both extremes.
Socialist societies move the curve slightly towards the sociopath end of the spectrum,
and free market economies moves the curve dramatically in the same direction.
(free market economies reward sociopaths and penalize altruists-look out for number 1, step on everyone to get to the top, last man standing wins)
in free market economies, sociopaths make the most successful salesmen and politicians.
but regardless of the economic type, only people on the extremes of this curve fall to leadership positions. so yes, there are more followers than leaders.
Ideally, a leader should demonstrate behaviors which show that he/she places others before themselves in importance. unfortunately the probability of this happening becomes increasingly unlikely in any society which rewards selfish, anti-social behavior.
Yes. The leader is either with the people, in which case the people will love him and support him, or is against the people, in which case the people will remove him from power, however powerful he may once have been. This is because minorities inherently possess less power than the majority they rule over.
Logically(from a literal standpoint) it would be reasonable to say that leaders of large orginizations would be in the minority.
You seem to have answered your own question. I believe the social network of people determines how many leaders a society can maintain. imagine a president for each neighborhood.
Yes.

Is it a good idea to wear make-up while using isotane aka roaccutane?
I have been prescribed isotane for my acne and want to know if it is ok to wear make-up while using it. I only really use tinted moisturiser, eye liner and mascara but it does dry out your skin, so I just wanted to check. Is it a good idea to wear make-up while using isotane aka roaccutane?
Yes, I was on accutane, and I wore make up. It was fine. You might want to get a good moisturizer to put on before the foundation, because your skin will get very dry. Try something oil-free, and with sunscreen, since your skin will be sensitive from the medication. Neutrogena and Clinique have good ones.

Can I buy make-up off the internet and resale it on the street at a little stand?
Or do I need some type of license? I am going to be traveling a lot and I am looking for ways to make money. Do you have other ideas? Thanks. Can I buy make-up off the internet and resale it on the street at a little stand?
no. that's illegal. you don't have permission to resale products by the corporation. it's basically like giving away counterfeit money. Can I buy make-up off the internet and resale it on the street at a little stand?
Do it with Avon. It's all set up for you. All you got to do is hit the bricks or set up parties or whatever they do. And they take care of almost all the paper work which is one of the big asspains of your own business.
Well, you would need a license to sell on the street, but selling the company's products without permission is also a big ';no no.'; I would also recommend selling Avon or Mary Kay.

How can i make up an excuse for a letter?
Recently, i lost my debit card. I know my mom would go madddd if she found out, so i secretly managed to order myself a new one. However, its going to come through the post. She'll be in when the letter comes, and i cant say its my debit card, or its from the bank because she keeps all my statements etc.
Any ideas on what i could pass it for?
Thankyouu :)How can i make up an excuse for a letter?
Just be honest with her. If you make up a story and she finds out it isn't true, she will be angry. How can i make up an excuse for a letter?
lieing is worse, people loose things once in a while and I would tell her you lost it but were responsible enough to order another.
she is going to see it anyway, how about say ';o mom did my updated card come in the mail yet, (maybe she'll think it is an updated issue to replace the old one, if she asks no questions, your fine)
If she does ask, did you loose it? just say o mom I know you care-thats great-thanks it''s just another one I took care of everything--did you see it in the mail?
g-luck
Tell her that you borrowed her sexy high heeled stiletto shoes and tripped, then your debit card flew straight into a sewer worker's butt crack.
She'll think it's all her fault for buying those shoes in the first place and she'll have to let it go.
Hopes this helps :)
Lying to your mother is never a good idea. You'll likely get caught anyway. If she asks, tell her right off that the other one was lost and you responsibly cancelled it and ordered a new one. She may give you credit for handling it like an adult.
try to bluff her by telling that thenew card has special features and you exchanged it with the old one
good luck
just tell the truth I'm sure she wll understand you

What are some common drugs used to make up general anesthesia?
I'm doing my med/surg case study on a patient who had surgery on his broken ankle so I guess he had an open reduction and fixation (rods and screws were put in). We have to list the drugs used for this kind of procedure and we can't just write general anesthesia; so I need to know some drugs commonly used to make up this cocktail. What are some common drugs used to make up general anesthesia?
It's not a cocktail - it's an ongoing and constantly changing administration of a variety of drugs.
Here is a sample of what might be given:
Propofol, sevoflurane in oxygen and air, fentanyl, midazolam, ondansetron, and maybe morphine or hydromorphone. If intubation was required (may or may not be for this procedure) then add a paralytic, such as rocuronium or vecuronium, and reversal of said paralysis with neostigminie and glycopyrrolate.
Every case is different, and different anesthesiologists might approach the same case differently. In fact, I'd suggest a spinal :)

How do you make your nose smaller with make up?
Any ideas would be fantastic. How do you make your nose smaller with make up?
Hi Kinnari2,
To minimize a large nose, use shadowing on either side of the nose. This could be a bronzing powder that you use on the cheeks, chin, along the forehead to give you a warm sunkissed look.
- MaximilianHow do you make your nose smaller with make up?
You could always google it (not in a mean way :p, you just might find more ideas). The idea is to hilight your nose with lighter shades on the ridge, about as think as you would like your nose to be, and with darker shades, do the rest. Don't go overboard and look like you're mulitcolored, just be very light. Good luck and i'm sur eyou're beautiful!

Why do Corporations make up acronyms for everything and then turn the acronym into a new word?
It seems like all corporations make up acronyms for everything, then in speech they reverse it back into a redheaded stepchild word. It's madness. Why do Corporations make up acronyms for everything and then turn the acronym into a new word?
It helps establish a culture of conformity. it's also a great way to hide the fact that generally intelligence decreases as you go up the corporate ladder. acronyms keep it short so that executives can remember what they're talking about. Why do Corporations make up acronyms for everything and then turn the acronym into a new word?
Acronyms are a natural progression of our complex, technologically rich and growing society. Our language couldn't create new words fast enough, so existing words combine to form lengthy descriptive phrases that are more easily remembered by combinations of their first letters.
If proper writing style and etiquette are followed, the first use of an acronym should be followed parenthetically by the expansion.
There seems to be a love/hate relationship with acronyms. While some people complain they are overused and confusing, others seem to enjoy learning and even making up clever new ones.

How do you make up bad credit?
For ppl with bad credit, is there a way they can have good credit? How do you make up bad credit?
Yes, it's possible with a little hard work and perserverance, and patience, you could get it back up there. What you have to understand is what makes up your credit score:
1. Payment history- 35%
2. Total debt owed to avialable credit ratio-30%
3. Length of time establishing credit-15%
4. Types of credit established-10%
5. Inquiries and New accounts-10%
With that in mind, this is some steps that you should do in order to get yourself in a better financial position to rebuild your score:
1. Open a checking and savings account- while this won't directly affect your credit score, it does many things. It re-establishes a relationship between you and a financial institution, which by being an customer in good standing, could help make it easier to get approved for credit cards and loans. Most importantly, by opening a checking account
it gives you the single most powerful tool in building credit, to help pay your bills on time, especially if the bank offers online billpay.
2. Gather ALL your credit reports- It's important to know exactly what's on your reports. A lot of times, people believe that their credit is so bad, that they don't bother to check their reports for mistakes, and trust me, mistakes DO happen. The credit bureaus don't get paid to be accurate, they get paid to report. It's important that you gather reports from all 3 agencies to determine not just who and how much you owe, but to make sure that what's on there is even correct. If you do happen to find something that you're sure is not right, you should dispute with all 3 agencies, they all have an online dispute feature in which you can dispute the item. Once you've made sure that there's no inaccuracies on your report, then you should arrange your debts from most recent and lowest amount to oldest and highest amount. Debts that are newer than 2 years are hurting your score the worst and should be handled first. What you should know that just paying off debts, especially collection debts will not help your score. A ';pay to delete'; or ';deletion payment';, which is a payment in exchange for removing it from your report completely. I posted several links that explains this more in detail.
Link(s) to debt negotiation:

http://www.creditinfocenter.com/debt/deb鈥?/a>
If you're sucuessful, this will help your score.
3. Open new credit- I had mentioned in #1, about opening a checking and savings account with a bank or credit union, I'm going to tie that in with what I'm about to say. Some major banks (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, USBank, Orchard Bank) and some credit unions offer secured credit cards, which are credit cards that require a deposit to establish credit. Whatever you deposit would be the credit line, for example, if you deposited $300, then your credit line would be $300. The deposit isn't used to pay for what's purchased on the card, you would still need to either pay in full or make monthly minimum payments. The deposit is used only if the account becomes delinquent and goes to collections. A couple of good things is that you can increase the credit limit by adding to the deposit, which can help your score because it creates a much needed cushion between the total debt that's owed and the available credit, and also the deposit is sometimes linked to a savings account which earns interest while you're building credit, so the deposit isn't just sitting there. A good way to build credit with the card is to make small purchases ($20/month max) and pay it off on time every month, while adding to the deposit. Usually after a year or so, of paying it off on time, the card either converts to a regular card or it's upgraded to a better card, and most importantly the deposit isn't needed anymore and it's given back. My suggestion would be to open another secured card and repeat the process or open 2 at a time, which would speed things up. If you make small purchases, pay it off and increase the limits, that will really help your score. In the end, you'll have 2 credit cards with decent limits and an emergency fund from the deposits.

Good luck! How do you make up bad credit?
Yes, but it takes time. You have to straighten out each account that is overdue or unpaid (settle it either directly by making a payment plan or a lawyer), pay all current credit on time, not go over the limit and mostly, by not using credit anymore. Make a plan to live on what you actually bring home, and depending on how long it takes you to clear up the bad credit (for some items, it takes 7 years to clear), and if you haven't used or overuse your credit, you can have good credit. A bad credit history cannot be cleaned up overnight; it takes time to make all the bad items clear out.
Pay your bills on time
I suggest you get copy of credit report. Contest any mistakes that is effecting your credit. If you have delinquent accounts then contact your creditors to make a deal to pay those bills and they should remove derogatory information from your credit report. You can get a secured credit card and use it to improve your credit score. You have to pay all your bills full at end of each month. Don't apply for new credit for next six months.Hopefully your credit score will improve with time.
Once you have bad credit it takes a very long time to work up the latter for good credit again. Trust me I have been there. Do not apply for anymore credit cards because denials will continue to lower your credit score. You just have no choice but to try to pay off your dept as soon an you can. Any credit inquires lower your score so be careful of what you do. Bad credit (charge offs, late payments, etc.) stay on your credit report for 7-10 years. Good luck!!

Either way Acronym Finder (www.acronymfinder.com) is the most useful site when it comes to acronyms and abbreviations. If they don't have it, suggest it and they'll add it, or research and find it.

What clothes should make up the bases of my wardrobe?
I'm revamping my wardrobe because it's dated and most things don't fit. I'm going for a rocker/indie vibe that is kinda girly but I'm not sure what sort of clothes would go under that. It's how I used to dress when I was like 16/17 and I loved it, I'm 22 nowWhat clothes should make up the bases of my wardrobe?
- Little black dress
- Scarf
- cropped leather jacket
- Leggings that look like leather
- Band Ts and Vintage Ts
- Knit hat
- Skinny jeans, bright colored or dark denim
- High waisted skirt
- Gladiator heelsWhat clothes should make up the bases of my wardrobe?
A couple of those lacy cami's, maybe some plan tanks too, a few dressier shirts for when you have to dress up, a couple skirts. I would get some good fitting jeans, a good jacket, a nice purse. For the indie/rocker look, go for accessories that give off that feel. You can also get some rock inspired pieces like a jacket, or shoes that will help create that feel in your wardrobe.
well im personnally a rocker skater type but i am a dude but i mean as far as those guidlines go i mean go to those type of stores or shop online like for example i get alot of my clothes from pacsun( pacific sunwear) there website is cool pacsun.com and i also go to tillys.com they have a wide selection of those types of clothes also base ur colors on ur attitude because they have a wide spread color range and combos and colors affect how far u look like yellow stands out and blue fades in choose the colors that suit u and ull love ur wardrobe that much more
skinny jeans in
red, green, blue, denim, purple, black, white, and grey.
band tees
and graphic tees.
dressy shirts
plaid shirts
LBD
knee high socks
shorts
necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hairbows.
studded belt. :D
pretty much go on google and type in scene fashions.
eyeliner, printed jeans.
:D
just pick clothes that you think are pretty, don't wear stuff that isn't ';you'; and just pick clothes that fit you in all the right places.

Google Vanessa Anne Hudgens. It might not seem like it but that is pretty much her style. I love it! [Though I don't love her lol]
Skinny jeans with a long, loose, girly sweater, and a belt around the waist.
anything from Urban Outfitters :)
skinny jeans are fundemental here!! :)
never forget a little black dress
1) A good pair of JEANS ! Nothing can make you feel better than a good fitting pair of jeans, regardless of the price, if they fit, buy them
2) An artisan style purse. These are usually expensive, but a nice dark chocolate brown or black one can be timeless and chic, as well as rocker indie.
3) A white tunic. This is like a long t shirt. One that can be belted, worn with leggings, flats, high heels, wedges, over a bakini or with a jacket. White or black is best because its basic. Kain make nices ones (see net-a-porter.com)
4) A good coat. If youre going for the rocker/indie vibe, I would buy a leather jacket, a nice, structured black one. And dont skimp out here because they cheaper you go, the uglier they get.
5) Lots of cheap jewellery. Still clasy, but lots of bangles and rings and lock necklaces from cheap stores or bargain shops, or even better, vintage !
6) A romantic blouse. Pale pink is flattering on most people, and can be worn with jeans to be casual, a skirt to dress up or dress pants.
7) Oversized cardigan. Doesnt matter the colour, but with jeans, a skirt, or belted over a dress, they look incredibly cute ! They have nice ones at express.com
8) Printed dress. Short or long, typically cotton. A loose one that can transition easily from summer to fall is good too.
9) Aviators. You might already own them, but find some in a funky colour, they're really cool right now and look very indie chic.
10) http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/3875鈥?/a> Shoes like those are super transitional, with tights, leather, dresses, jeans, you name it !
Just a tip, you want to keep these things basic and transitional, and add on as trends come and go. These basics should bet he most expensive in your wardrobe, and the trendier pieces that will fade as time goes one, should be cheaper things.emo hair

What age should a teen start wearing make up?
12. We really start to grow up once we get in junior high. What age should a teen start wearing make up?
i started when i was 12... i wore ey shadow started wearing eye liner and mascarra at age 14.. lip stick is nasty but i wore lip gloss al the time... and i dont do blush it makes me break outWhat age should a teen start wearing make up?
there are no certain age but i think it shouldn't be to young because skin needs air wearing too much of it spoils your skin, so if you feel comfortable wearing it or you wanna try out i think it shouldn't be a problem
Any age thats right for her and her parents. For me it was 12.
i think around 14, but it's really a choice for the parents to make. young girls dont need a whole face of makeup, just a lipgoss and maybe eye shadow. natural is always better, especially on teens. they should learn self confidence about their natural appearance before learning to cover it up. they should be secure with who they are, and should only want to enhance that!
well i say 13 but it depends on how mature u are!!!!
i think its bad when girls start wearing makeup too young like 8 and around there. its fine for just playing around and stuff but not daily it just bugs me-especially when they wear more than me and I'm at least 6 years older then them. a lot of girls start when they are 12 or 13 and i think that's a good age to start experimenting as long as its not too much. i started to wear lip gloss and mascara when i was 13 and gradually started to wear more as i got older
I think a girl should start wearing makeup around 12 years old, but it has to be very minimal (lipgloss, light eyeliner, etc.).
For full makeup, around 15 years old.
13
after she hits puberty, in her early teens, 12, 13. I think a tiny amount of tinted lip gloss, some light mascara and some light blush is ok...
I was always allowed makeup, but I really started wearing it at 13. Best age would be 11-12 as long as you keep it natural.
whenever she wnts...just not too s!utty
I did when I was about 14. I think starting too young is bad! Younger girls don't need to be worrying about applying make-up! I actually wish I would have waited a little later but I say at least 14!
i started at 12
I didn't start weraing makeup until I was 21 but that was due to the fact I didn't want to. You can start whenever you want you just have to find a quality product.
Around 12, as long as it's not too much.
any age is ok but its just the amoutnt, lets say a 13 year old and under should only war like lip gloss and maybe eye liner. For 14-16 Try mascara. and from there up experiment with blush, and eye shadows
I started when I was 14!
I would say maybe 13.I started wearing make-up way sooner but I didn't put too much on and I washed off every night so at any age you start wearing make-up,wash it and use covergirl cuz that is mostly for teens.
In stages IMO. At 13 or so clear or very light lip gloss is okay. Anything more should wait until 16.
pretty girls dnt need make make up but yer every teen thinks there not pretty i no because thats wat i thought i started wearing mascara at 13 n foundation at 15 but yer dat was me
As a make up artist and a mother of girls, I think little things like lip gloss are okay early on as long as there isn't too much color in it. Mascara is okay around 13 and at 16 light overall make up is okay. This is the point when the skin is going crazy due to hormones. Long as she is responsible enough to wash it off at night and keep her face clean. Before this stage you have to teach her good skin care habits, then introduce makeup in moderation at the right age.
summer going into 7th.
put mascara, lip gloss, light eyeliner, and nutral eyeshadow
I was 12-13 when I started in middle school. I wore a little bit of pressed powder, because I had uneven skin and I wore maybelline lipstick (maroon). It was my favorite color and I wore it all the way to high school until they stopped making it. :^ (
I would say at 16 years old.I started at that age and when I first was allowed to put make up on I just used lipgloss, mascara, eye pencils and some light coloured eye shadows. When I became 18 I started to do whatever I wanted with make up,using darker eye shadows and lipsticks and I think that my mom's decision for allowing me at age 16 to put light coloured make up on was great because I didn't look s!utty..
whenever you want to. i started very young.
that depends on your parents, but a lot of people start at 14 or 16, i started at 12... also theres a difference between just like lip gloss and a little mascara and the whole works
in like 6th grade i wore cute little eye shasdows etc. but then in 7th grade i noticed alot of girl looked older than me so i think that it kinda depends on how you feel i tried to wear make up in 7th but it didnt work but in the later part of 8th a wor alot of make up
hope i help
never. they never have to start but many start at the age of 13 during middle school
but it grows more intense in high school middle school is simple
eyeliner.. mascara
I started probably around ten, just messing around with make up. But in all honesty I started seriously wearing it at sixteen. When ever your parents feel comfortable letting you wear it. Neutral tones are always a good idea, since it doesn't draw to much attention but allows the girl to get a hang of coordinating make up (brush strokes and what not) but hey no girl HAS to wear make up! What ever your comfortable it, go for it!!

How to keep pores clean with stage make-up?
I'm in a community theatre play and my pores are getting blocked even though I am using a good facial wash and toner morning and night and I use an exfoliator.
What do you guys do?How to keep pores clean with stage make-up?
Got to agree with the two posters just above me--don't use community makeup, get your own. And if you're using it every night, not much is going to help 100% except a few consecutive days off. Our skin isn't meant to absorb that much unnatural goo.
That said, a couple things help me:
1) Use baby wipes as your first method of removal. Facial wash afterwards.
2) Moisturize with a good water-based (not oil-based)moisturizer. You get what you pay for with this stuff, so don't skimp. I like Clinique Dramatically Different gel. You have to get it at a dept store makeup counter, and it costs about $20 a bottle. It seems counterintuitive to moisturize when you're breaking out, but a professional makeup lady once explained to me that if your skin lacks moisture, it absorbs a LOT more makeup in order to get that moisture back. So, if you moisturize before applying your makeup, you put a protective layer of that good stuff on and less of the icky makeup sinks in.
3) Those Biore pore cleansing strips work great. Wet them, stick them on your nose or forehead or wherever, let dry, then peel off. The dirt and stuff will pull right out of your pores and stick to the strip...gross but kinda fascinating!
4) Finally, think about whether you REALLY have to use stage makeup, or whether you can substitute some heavy-duty street makeup (still lighter than stage makeup) in some ways. I have really sensitive skin, and when I was doing rep, I was breaking out so much that I finally had to give up my trusty Ben Nye foundation and start using a good-quality department store base. I still used stage highlight, shadow, and a few other things, but not having that thick mask on underneath really helped. I found that as long as I powdered really well, I didn't have a melting problem. And I had my makeup designer help me with getting the shade right under the stage lights--I went a shade or two darker than what I would wear in real life. How to keep pores clean with stage make-up?
The only thing you can do is to wash it completely and do not go home from a cast party so tired that you fall asleep in your stage make-up. Stage make-up is VERY different from regular make-up and any chance you get, pamper your skin with a facial (after a weekend run and you don't have to get back in make-up for a couple of days)
Did you try using a peel? Maybe that would help.
If you're using ';community'; make-up, that could be the problem. Often community theatres use the same make-up for years with everyone sharing the same product.
I'd invest in quality make-up for your use only %26amp; learn to apply it yourself. MAC has a great line that is strong enough for stage, but gentle enough on your skin.
Also, use a gentle water based moisturizer before applying make-up. It keeps your skin from drying %26amp; it makes it easier to remove.
Break a leg %26amp; enjoy the run!
I agree with a lot of the advice you've been given but I can't imagine anyone uses 'community' make up anymore... it's archaic. It hardly costs anything to get a barebones make up kit. Avoid the grossness people and buy your own kit. Please.
The nature of the make up... it's not called greasepaint for nothing. By the end of the run, everyone has acne issues. It goes with the territory. You just wash it off completely and let your face breathe all night. If you can avoid wearing makeup the next day until call time that would be helpful too. I've used a number of things to take off that makeup and I still break out. It doesn't really matter what you use so use whatever has worked best for you. Cold cream, a facial wash and a cloth, a presoaked makeup remover cloth, etc. You're wearing thicker than normal makeup, you're sweating under hot lights and cramped yucky dressing rooms, the sweat is trapped in your pores until you wash off the make up, it's just not the ideal situation. Maybe a slightly medicated wash would be a good addition to your nighttime routine?
good luck!
Marianne
I used to take off my stage make-up with Pond's cold cream.. It's heavy duty.. Also, exfoliate with baking soda it's cheap and easy to find. It's also good for sensitive skin and use Witch Hazel to tone and get any residue off the skin from the make-up... Good luck

What is meant by the description ';antiparallel'; regarding the strands that make up DNA?
1. The twisting nature of DNA creates nonparallel strands.
2. The 5' to 3' direction of one strand runs counter to the 5' to 3' direction of the other strand.
3. Base pairings create unequal spacing between the two DNA strands.
4. One strand is positively charged and the other is negatively charged.
5. One strand contains only purines and the other contains only pyrimidinesWhat is meant by the description ';antiparallel'; regarding the strands that make up DNA?
The answer is 2.
The strands are parallel (equidistant apart), but one strand has the -OH (3') end up while the other has the Phosphate (5') end up, creating the anti- part of anti-parallel.What is meant by the description ';antiparallel'; regarding the strands that make up DNA?
When you look at a particular end of the duplex the terminal nucleotide of one strand has a free 3'OH and the other has a free 5'PO4^2-. This makes the strands antiparallel and is because the specific direction of synthesis of DNA which is through 5'--%26gt;3' .
The fourth point in your question is wrong i guess. Both the strands are negatively charged due to the presence of phosphate groups.
Number 2
One strand runs 3' to 5' while the strand it pairs with runs 5' to 3'

How can I look prettier by using make-up?
I get told by all my friends and sometimes people I don't know that I have nice eyes and lips, but I'm ugly. I want some kind of make-up that will focus more on my eyes and lips but I'm not good with make-up. I'm 16 and I've only worn it a few times for special occasions. What should I use? How can I look prettier by using make-up?
get black eyeliner and trace the top lash line of your eyes and the inner, bottom lash line of your eyes. put some lip gloss or lip stick on.How can I look prettier by using make-up?
How can i look prettier by using makeup?
Well first off, you need perfect skin! This is accomplished by a healthy diet, regular washing and plenty of water, ofcourse, but a foundation and concealer can do wonders!!! Find a foundation that is your exact skin colour, and smooth a little bit all over your face. It will make a subtle difference, and it has to be blended in perfectly! Then use a concealer, and this could hide and pimples or scars. Voila, perfect skin ;)
After that, blush. Many people don't use blush, but the perfect blush makes you look healthier and more youthful. I would recommend an orangey red colour for u! Lightly coat the brush with the blush, and apply to the apples of your cheeks while smling. Brush towards the hairline. Try to make it blend in as much as possible, then apply a little bit to bridge of the nose to blend it out. Always try to use as little as possible, but still enough to make an impact.
Then try a mascara. One that would make your eyelashes thicker and longer. One to two coats should be enough. An eyeliner is not neccessary, eyeliner can sometimes make the eye look smaller/worse.
Lipgloss!!! Subtle but instant glamour! Apply a few times daily and it will make your lips look great. However, red lips are also pretty too. I personally use cherry flavoured labello, gives a great colour and tastes great ;)
So there ya go! This is not party makeup, but just the basic every day makeup that will make you look and feel great!
Tip: Focus on your hair too. Beautiful hair can have as much importance as beautiful makeup. Try straightening it, or a different haircut. Ask your hairdresser, and take time in the morning to style it!
Ok, not to sound cocky, but i've been told i'm good with make up, so i guess i'll try here lol, theres ALOT of steps for this, it depends how much makeup you want on, so since your basically a beginner, you should go into a dept. makeup sec. or goto sephora, their usually the best ones, NEVER i said NEVER goto a drug store and buy your make up their cheap and never work. ok this is how i do my make up, first make sure your face is clean, and moisterizered cuz once its on, you feel a little dry, and its not a good feeling, 2nd start with a little concealer around the areas you need to conceal, and then put some foundation on, and then bronzer around your nose forehead chin lower cheekbones, then some blush onthe upper cheek =bones and then shimmerpowder, and then for lips use lip plumper it makes you lips bigger and then some good colored lip gloss, for eyes start always by eyeshadow, and put a base color all around your eye to the top till the brow line and it has to be a liitle duller and lighter than the others and then a color which is your main, the one you want to pop, put that only to the creast and then keep your eyes open for this a darker color than the main one and put it on the creast, then eyeliner on the top, liquid is the best, you could put it on the bottom thats up to you, then curl the lashes and mashcra thats it
hmmm, for something you could wear to school you should use black, brown, or grey eyeliner.
use on bottom and top. pick a shadow that complements your eye color. if you dont know, theres almay eye expressions, which are picked out for your eye color.
grey looks good on everyone, too. smokey eyes :D
for fun, try bright colors. do this on weekends though, because sometimes eyeliner can be hard to get off. hip is a good brand for bright colors.
for eyeliner i like rimmel london.
for lips, use some lip gloss, but if you want color do a lipstick with a gloss over it.
hope this helped :)
mascara...maybe some eye liner but if you're not good with make-up then I wouldn't suggest using that.... and depending on your skin tone- a bronze eye shadow... and just some lip gloss. This is a natural look but defiantly helps. = ) also maybe some mineral make-up..to even out a skin tone. Hope this helps.
but even with out make-up, No ones ugly = )
use a lose powder all over your face. Cover Girl TruBlend has a great one by the way. then use some black or dark brown eye liner. lastly put some mascara on your upper eyelashes only. this is a simple look that is not over done [and easy] and will look great for someone like you.
Sweetie, do't use make-up. I bet you are beautiful as you are.
You are who you are.
put powder foundation
apply blusher
put pink or black eyeliner
add mascara
put on lip gloss

鈥?Honey for Best Facial
The best facial mask that i have found is honey. Use warm cloth to open pores, smear on honey, leave on 15 to 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and then use cold water to close pores. Use for 3 days in a row and then once a week. Sometimes I mix a little gound oatmeal with the honey, which makes a great mask.

Facial Feels Good
One my daughter and I had fun with and found to have a cleansing and softening effect was to mix regular clean kitty litter, the clay kind, with water and strain out the grit. It really felt good.
Carol
Exfoliating Mask
For an easy exfoliating mask, mix three tablespoons olive oil or any good oil and one tablespoon kosher salt mix and gently rub into dry skin. Do not use around eye area. This works great on elbows and feet, but it can also be used on cheeks and forehead
Donna R.
Egg Whites
I use egg whites. Just beat one egg white until it is frothy. Spread it all over your face. Wait until it dries. Rinse it off. My face feels very clean and ';tight'; after this application. And then I use the yolk for cooking.( I have yet to have found a use for the shell)
DS
Egg Yolk
The best homemade facial mask that I have used is a raw egg yolk. just apply the raw yolk to your face and neck for 30 minutes and rinse with cool water. Egg yolks are high in vitamin A. The mask is very effective in healing blemishes.
Leona
Match Mask to Your Skin Type
For trouble-prone skin, mix oatmeal with water to form a paste.
For normal to oily skin, use an egg white.
For dry skin, use an egg yolk.
In all cases, spread mixture on face and allow to dry. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
For oily skin, witch hazel makes an inexpensive toner.
For dry skin, you may want to add moisturizer while skin is still damp.
Susan
Oatmeal
The cheapest and best facial mask I have ever come up with is oatmeal processed to a powder in the blender and either skim milk or if you are trying to fade spots lemon juice. Really works well for me and I have dry skin.

What kind of Make up should I be wearing ?
I am 13 and I loveeee loveee LOVEEE !!! Make up and I wear it all the time but I dont want to damadge my skin at all .... So what is the best way for me to be wearing make up at 13 without hurting my skin and causing rinkles ...? And what kind of make up as well ?What kind of Make up should I be wearing ?
First off always take good care of your skin. Wash off your makeup every night., exfoliating your face 1 or 2 times a wk. Cetaphil is a good gentle cleanser you can use every day.
Exfoliate your face at least once a week to remove dead skin cells %26amp; freshen your face. St Ives or Clean %26amp; Clear Morning burst is good for this. OR its easy to make your own by adding a bit of water to salt or sugar %26amp; gently scrub you face %26amp; neck.
Always moisturize your face %26amp; neck before applying makeup %26amp; before going to bed. Find something thats good for your skin type, be it oily or dry. I like Olays or Clean %26amp; Clear when I've got acne problems. Use a moisturizer with sunscreen in it for daytime. Doing all this is good for your skin %26amp; won't cause wrinkles~~ it prevents wrinkles.
Physicians Formula also has a good minerals powder you can try. Its not expensive %26amp; doesnt have any allergens in it. Plus drug stores %26amp; Target or WalMart sell it. Don't use much %26amp; your skin won't look like you have a lot of makeup on. Match it to your skin color. I dont like the brush that comes with it~~ look for Sonia Kashuks. It costs a bit more but the brushes are soft %26amp; apply minerals makeup better, IMO.
I'd go ahead %26amp; add just a touch of pink blush on your cheeks too. Only apply to apple of your cheeks %26amp; don't use much. Just adds some color. Then apply a bit of pink lip gloss. Use the pink blush on your eye lids, its okay.
Then apply mascara, dark brown is fine, to your top lashes. Don't start out with eyeliner yet~~ wait till your comfortable wearing your mascara. Besides its more natural looking when youre 13.
What kind of Make up should I be wearing ?
usally when your 13, you would really only want to wear some lipstick, eyeliner, and maybe some blush!! Now if you have some rough spots on your face, like sores, acne, and maybe dryskin, you would want to go to your local makeup store and get maybelline foundation for light skin, that will help cover everythinig up you want to be covered, and it would look like you dont have any makeup on your face except the lipstick, and eyeliner
When I was thirteen I didn't put things on my skin like foundation or concealer. The thing I think you should do is wash your face every morning and night with something healty for your skin like neutrogena or clean and clear. They help prevent blemishes rather than cover them up like make up does. Plus, at such a young age foundation can damage your fragile skin as you grow older. BUT!! I did wear over eyeliner, under eyeliner, and eyeshadow. These things are cute and you can color coordinate with them! And let's not forget lipgloss. You should try them.
When I was your age I had really really really really bad acne so I used to cover it up with a tinted moisturiser and that seemed to do the trick and certainly didn't seem to damage my skin. Now, at the tender age of 28 I don't wear make up very often at all so my skin's getting a nice break. I'm sure I'll need it a bit more when I hit about 35!!
dont wear alot of makeup because you will get older fast that way. like if you wear alot of foundation to cover your acne you will damage your skin. you can also start using those acne cream thats also makeup. i saw one for proactive, it smooths your skin and at the same time it will cover acne
well, i'm 14, and all i use is powder, no creams, because when you use creams, it blocks the pores and creates pimples. and a + about using powder: it looks natural, so it looks like you're not even using any make-up at all. use eye-liner in spare, (not allot of it, i mean) also mascara. a little bit of blush never hurts..no bright colors of blush though, ok? a little bit of eye-shadow...blue is not a good choice...or purple...or black..oh, no other color of eye-liner but black or charcoal grey
Most makeup contains vitamins %26amp; sunscreen. So makeup is actually good for your skin. Not only does it make you look good, it also protects you skin. But yes, always buy a good brand %26amp; stick to it! Some of the best makeup brands are YSL, MAC %26amp; Avon. Makeup should always be about making you feel good. Follow the latest trends %26amp; don't forget to experiment! That's the real fun part! ;-)
Either mix moisturizer with your foundation
-1 part foundation, 2 part moisturizer
or apply moisturizer before your foundation
and when washing your face, wash twice
-once to remove the make up
-twice to remove dirt and oil
hope this helps

Bare Minerals - it's good for you skin and lightweight as well. They have a whole line of products.

Yeah, green eyes, blonde hair, The hair is a little bit under my shoulders. I need something easy but cute to do with it and make up.I need easy yet dramatic hair and make-up ideas for green eyes and blonde hair?
Heya!
youve got good looks to work with so try a smokey eye but dont over do it! NEVER USE PURPLE EYESHADOW, it looks horrible on this girl i go to school with and she has blonde hair green eyes aswell.
For summer the whole bronze thing is in so you could try that, DONT GO TO ORANGE THOUGH! if your not into the tan thing, blush would look GREAT! not too pink a little more reddish would look better.
mascara looks really good on blondes.. im jealouse! theres nothing hotter than long lashes! so try out some brown mascara if you want it more natural looking. black with smokey eyes though. dont get clumpy mascara.
best of luck with your makeup experiments!

How do u get flawless skin without make up?
I'm 13. i have uneven skin tone spots red blotchines. I'm pale
and Ive got purple under eyes, but not circles or bags, definitely purple under eyes.
ill choose u as best answer if your tips work!
i don't want to use make up but maybe some info. on Bare EssentialsHow do u get flawless skin without make up?
Use facial masks that u can make at home.
For red spots- that means ur skin is inflamed. Try not to eat junk food and food like chocolate. they cause blemishes. u can use oatmeal mask to get rid of that and uneven skin tone.
One tablespoon of each:
oatmeal
honey
and milk
Mix them together and put it on ur face and leave it on for 15 mins, then rinse with cool water.
For your purple undereyes- use cucumbers or sliced potatoes. and leave it on for 10 minutes.
Drink lots of water
- bare essentials isnt as good as everyone thinks. Everyone has different reaction to certain make up products and this might break u out. It does cover uneven skin tone but it's expensive and a little too heavy for a 13 yr old. I would use something lighter such as a tinted moisture by mixing a little foundation with lotion.
hope this helpsHow do u get flawless skin without make up?
drink lots of water, clense, tone and moisturise
the purple under eye area is probably cos you have pale skin, and the skin in your eye area is finer and more translucent. its prob fine veins and stuff we all have under eye.
a yellow based conceler could help.
mineral make up is great! i highly recomend it!
it dosent clog pores, you can even sleep in it!
The best skin care is simple:
Use a good moisturizer with SPF 30 during the day on your face and neck.
At night, use cold cream all over your face except for your eyes.
You should start seeing improvement right away.
go to the doctor and ask for the pill called yasmin it makes ur skin perfect

What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?
Do lots of juniors play?
My school has 1800 kids. What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?
My school only has freshmen and sophomores on the JV squad. What grades usually make up a JV boys basketball team?
JV is mostly made up of sophmores and freshman, even if you have a C team that is for freshman. Some Juniors may possibly be on the JV team if the Varsity team is really good, and you go to a big school. A lot of schools don't allow Seniors to be on JV, so there probably won't be any seniors. 1,800 kids isn't too big, but there might be some juniors on the team. if you are looking to play basketball for your high school, haven't had a lot of experience and want to play, go ahead and try out. As long as you are having fun, that's all that matters.
At most schools, JV teams are made up of Sophomores and Juniors. But it depends upon the school. Often times, all Juniors are on Varsity and JV is mostly Sophs with a few Freshman.
It usually depends upon how many kids are in the program.
mostly sophmores and juniors.. i played jv as a freshman, sophmore, and a junior.. i moved up as a freshman.. but i guess it depends on ur school, but seeing how u have 1800 students id say there r gna be alot of juniors playing jv.. my school only had like 400 students
Freshman, sophmore, and sometimes juniors.
freshman and sophmores. Rarely any juniors.
