  • What accessories, hair and make-up should i wear with my prom dress?

Ive got long brown hair, brown eyes and im wearing a floor length, light blue, flowing dress, with gold transparent flowers on the body, What accessories, hair and make-up should i wear with this prom dress? What accessories, hair and make-up should i wear with my prom dress?
Gold accessories to match the flowers, gentle waves in your hair with maybe the sides twisted/braided and loosely pinned back, and shimmering eye makeup in perhaps a bronzey colour or a brown smokey-eye look. I would go for a Grecian hairstyle, to match the flowing dress. What accessories, hair and make-up should i wear with my prom dress?
your hair should be curled and in an updo with like rhinestone pins and like a white or gold flower at the bun and get one of those like cubic zirconia oval necklaces with a gold chain. it's simple and classy. cubic zirconia chandeleir earrings and maybe a ring and bracelet if you want to go all out. get french fake nails, a gold clutch from forever 21 and really cute gold shoes with like rhinestoned trim and then for makeup you could go fairly natural colors like a goldish brown and really pretty eyes with black eyeliner and mascara to make them pop. if you go to some place to get your makeup done, take a picture of your dress and they can help you out ALOT.

    :) have fun
You can never go wrong with silver, rhinestone.. try this.

Why do some people make up so many wild false stories to impress others?

Lately I've seemed to run into a majority of people who just start making stories up that can't possibly be true and exaggerating things. It's almost like they get talking and they just start spouting things without really paying attention to what they are saying. This usually happens with first time acquaintances. My lady says its because I these people feel insecure and that I tend to be a bit too (in her words)';articulate'; for them...thus causing them to have to act more than they are. She says that they do this to try to impress others. Have you noticed this in people. Do they even realize how false they appear, or are they doing this so much that it becomes just natural to ';make things up';?Why do some people make up so many wild false stories to impress others?
People always tell porkies, I've heard so many outrageous stories and it just does my head in. I like to mess with them and try trip them up, watch them trying to figure out how to answer. Some people are so bold though and just cover one lie with another bigger lie.

It is insecurity and fear of being boring and uninteresting which makes them do it and it becomes second nature. I work with racehorses and one guy was always telling everyone about all the races he had won so we checked with the Jockey Club and then asked him why their records only showed 1 second place and hundreds of unplaced. He still tried to bluff his way out of it but nuff said, he knew that we knew.

Call them out on it and watch them squirm, much more fun!Why do some people make up so many wild false stories to impress others?
For some people in that category, feel that the only way that can strike up a conversation with someone, is too exaggerate a simple story. Even though it's unbelievable, the distraction is played on that ';false'; story. They feel satisfied in knowing that they got your attention, not really caring if you believe it or not. It's based on a concept that when these people tell stories, they actually associate that with a visual.

They , the story tellers, are lacking the attention, companionship of someone, and when they do talk about an event, they want to make sure you pay attention and of course everybody else you might share that with. So by now the whole town knows how extraordinary they want to believe they are.
For the same reason that so many people refuse to believe anything that never happened to them personally. Closed-mindedness, I suppose.
because thats the only way they can get attention. :)
they want attention and ppl to believe they are macho
It seems to me that if someone wants to relate to you but they can find no common ground, they create one. I'm also beginning to wonder if there is a brain abnormality, dysfunction - whatever you want to call it - that causes some people to lie about anything and just about everything for no apparent reason.

What was the religious make-up of the Bosnia and Herzgovina population prior to the Great War?

i have ZERO clue about this! What was the religious make-up of the Bosnia and Herzgovina population prior to the Great War?
Prior to WWI, there was no majority ethnic group in Bosnia, but Serbs were the largest group, followed by Muslims, and then Croats (Catholics). From wikipedia:

    1910 census: 1,898,044 persons

    Serb Orthodox Christians 825,918 (43.49%)

    Sunni Muslims 612,137 (32.25%)

    Catholics 434,061 (22.87%)

    others 26,428 (1.39%)

After WWI, Serbs were still the largest population.

    1931 census: 2,323,555 persons

    Serbian Orthodox Christians 1,028,139 44.25%

    Sunni Muslims 718,079 30.9%

    Catholics 547,949 23.58%

    others 29,388 1.27%

Even after WWII, Serbs were still the largest group:

    1953 census: 2,847,790 persons

    Serbs 1,264,372 (44.4%)

undecided 891,800 (31.3%) [note: undecided are mostly Muslims]

    Croats 654,229 (23%)

    Montenegrins 7,336 (0.3%)

    Slovenes 6,300 (0.2%)

    ethnic Macedonians 1,884 (0.1%)

    others 21,869 (0.7%)

The population inversion occurred in the 1960s and 1970s. At this time, Muslims became the largest group by a slight margin.

    1971 census: 3,746,111 persons

    Muslims[2] 1,482,430 (39.6%)

    Serbs 1,393,148 (37.2%)

    Croats 772,491 (20.6%)

    Yugoslavs 43,796 (1.2%)

    Montenegrins 13,021 (0.3%)

    Slovenes 4,053 (0.1%)

    ethnic Macedonians 1,773

    others 35,399 (1%)

The 2000 *estimate* (not an actual census) holds the following: (Bosniaks are Muslims)

Bosniaks 48% (of whom around 90% are followers of Islam)

Serbs 37.1% (of whom around 99% are followers of the Serb Orthodox Church)

Croats 14.3% (of whom around 88% are followers of the Catholic Church)

    others 0.6%

So, as you can see, no one ethnic group in Bosnia has a majority (50% or greater), and Serbs have been historically the largest of the groups, whereas in the 1970s and especially presently, the Muslims/Bosniaks are the largest of the three groups, but not by a very large margin. What was the religious make-up of the Bosnia and Herzgovina population prior to the Great War?
Most Bosnians are Muslims. There are some Orthodox Christians in Bosnia called Bosnian Serbs. %26amp; there are a smaller manority of Catholics.

How do I let my mom know I want to start wearing make-up?

I'm twelve and going into seventh grade. I want to start wearing foundation to cover blemishes, and I want to wear mascara too.

I don't want her to think I want to to wear the whole thing (blush, bronzer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc.) I'm also afraid she'll say I'm to young. My best friend is wearing a little make-up already, so could I use her as an example to let me wear makeup? How do I let my mom know I want to start wearing make-up?
well i'm going to gr.8, but maybe u should tell ur momHow do I let my mom know I want to start wearing make-up?
yeahh thats about when i started i think, actually mayeb that was the end of 7th grade, ughh i dont remember.

    anywaysss lol

i remeber i was with my mom in a store and i just asked if i could start wearing very light makeup, and she didnt object, for fondation my mom didn't really want me to get anything too heavy so i got a powder foundation from cilinique and even now 3 years later i still LOVEE it, it runs about $18, and it covers all my pimples and everything, i use the clarifying one so it even helps get rid of them and keep them gone. lol

just explain to her that ur friends are all wearing it and stresssss the fact that you don't wanna wear a lot.

    good luckk!

ohh and if you don't wanna spend a lot

    www.eyeslipsface.com

has makeup for a 1$ andd it actually works really welll!!!
    I wouldn't use your friend as an example. Whenever I use my friends as an example my mom always says things like ';Well you're not her.';

If I were you, and I wanted to start wearing makeup, I would ask my mom ';Mom, next time we go to the store, can I pickup some foundation? I have alot of blemishes, and they're really bothering me. Also, some mascara? Just to thicken my eyelashes.'; Also, be sure to telll her that you do not want to wear any other makeup other than foundation and mascara.

    Hope I helped :)

    xoxo

P.S. have fun with your makeup, but don't over-do it.
I started wearing eyeliner %26amp; lipgloss when I was 11..

going on 12 so I think thats a small amount of make-up

and I think it's an appropriate amount.

I think our moms went through wanting to wear makeup, too.

You can ask her, it's better than never knowing, right, atleast you tried. Maybe you can just ask her when she actually will let you wear makeup if she said no.

And then also let her know that you won't over-do it. You just want to bring out the features that are already on your face.... not cover it up. Foundation and Mascara sounds like a small amount to me. Keep it natural and maybe she won't mind. If she says know to mascara, maybe clear mascara? It actually IS noticable, and people at school will see it... I'm pretty sure. Maybe tell her that it makes you feel good about yourself more.

    Good Luck!
i know im going to grade seven 2 but im 11.i already asked my mom she says i have to wait until im 13. But i still wear it witout her noticing. she says i wear way too much. but i dont.....i wear mascara a little eye liner %26amp;%26amp; lip gloss...sometimes she doesent notice but whenever she does she has to embariss me....it depends how your mom is....if shes nice then its bound to be like u can start when ur first say of school or something...but if she says yes. dont wear alot beucase i did and now she says i have to wait till im 13....but its up to u
Just let her know that you want to do a more natural look that will just make a little bit of difference. I was like 12 too when I wore makeup for the first time, and my cousin, 16, did it for me. I told my mom that it made me look really pretty, and she said ok, just nothing too dramatic. It worked, so let me know what works for you!
u should just tell her that you are growing up and that your look does matter now and shes gunna probably understand you cuz she passed by that same age n no yur not 2 young i was 12 2 when i started to put make up n now im 13 nd i already wear more. Nd no dont use yur friend as an example cuz dan shes going to think dat is peer pressure nd shes not gunna let yu..

    well gud luck!!! bye :)
mayb you should talk to her about the whole make up thing.

just sit down with her and disscuss the situation and tell her what kind of make up you wanna wear. tell her your not trying to look like other girls, you just want to be yourself and you

think your ready for this next step.
i would ask her when she stated wearing make up. if she was young then ask her if you can too. and tell her why you want to. but don't whine that everyone else is doing it. it shows that youre not mature enough if you give an answer like that.
well tell her that you feel ugly.thats what i told my mom and she fell for it.and i started wearing foundation and eyeliner and stuff!!now that im a model.its required
Tell her exactly what you told us and be sure to make it clear that you only want to wear a little bit. :)
just put some on and see how she'll react.
